Esther Royer

CEO & Founder of Estarartistics Academy CIC

Estarartistics Academy CIC was born from lived experience, creativity, and a genuine desire to create a more supportive and engaging homeschooling environment for families.

As a homeschooling mother of four, Esther Royer understands first-hand both the beauty and the challenges that can come with alternative education. After struggling to find suitable homeschooling spaces, classes, and social opportunities locally, Esther and her children found themselves travelling across South and East London each week just to access the kinds of learning environments and community connections they were searching for.

Over time, the constant travelling became exhausting, especially whilst balancing family life, homeschooling, and running her own Events Management & Entertainment business. However, through that journey, Esther realised something important, many families were experiencing the same challenges.

Using her background in event management, creativity, and community engagement, Esther began creating the kinds of classes and spaces she wished existed for her own children and other homeschooling families.

What started as a small idea soon developed into creative classes and workshops held at St Margaret’s Church Hall in Edgware, North West London. Sessions included Photography, Life Skills, Sewing, Cooking, Art, Maths, and English, all designed to create a more flexible, engaging, and child-centred learning experience.

As the community began to grow, Esther also created “Social Mondays”, a relaxed home education social hub where homeschooling families and children could meet, socialise, play games, take part in hands-on activities, and simply enjoy meaningful downtime together in a safe and welcoming environment.

Through continued engagement with local families, the wider community, and conversations with Brent and Harrow Local Authorities, Esther was encouraged to formally develop the project into a Community Interest Company. In February 2026, Estarartistics Academy CIC was officially registered.

Today, Estarartistics Academy CIC continues to grow as a flexible alternative education and creative learning academy, supporting home educated children and families through academic learning, creativity, life skills, social connection, and community engagement.

Esther is a trained youth mental health first aider.

Our Vision is Simple

To create a supportive, inspiring, and inclusive space where children can learn, explore, socialise, and grow in ways that recognise their individuality, creativity, and wellbeing.

Esther and the Estarartistics Academy CIC community look forward to welcoming new families and continuing to build meaningful opportunities for homeschooling children and parents across the community.
